First thoughts from new member

I am new to many of the technical topics discussed here, along with posting in a forum in general. I came across this forum while trying to decide if one could repurpose a vintage knife or fork and not ruin the integrity of the utensils. From the little I have seen one can learn how to restore, refurbish or repupose. I am here to learn from the members and to share the results. Thanks for this opportunity.
