The guy that made the list based on makers experience and capability as a black smith.
(Only listed makers that he had experience with their work)

Nah, blacksmithing is many things -- and can or cannot include some sharpening and straightening things too. As a personal thing for him, sure, as an absolute not necessarily. And what about deba or gyuto blacksmith specialists? Or wrought iron or banding or edge retention or sharpening feel -- or new age modern alloy steels. Is it just collectability and fan groups and well known makers? No stainless?

Only knife smiths? What about tool smiths who have special steels and irons who dabble in kitchen knives, or field blacksmiths? Only nationally known, advertised and dealer-network blacksmiths? Only living ones? What about the many unnamed who worked for wholesalers? Speed of production? Fineness of edge taking vs aggression? Ability for honyaki? How much do they know about edge geometry? Etc. I've never necessarily been impressed by the sharpness of honyaki over clad knives, and that extends to razors too that have been done in that manner.

If you ever tried fixing knives or going through the steps of how they're made, I mean, it's all work that's hard, and they can all do it. Plus I like mass produced japanese stainless -- it has its own purpose too

I’m sure it’s a very personal tier list just like most tier lists

Who is "the guy", and why is this written in Mandarin?

If he is a vendor, I reckon he might have quite a few Saji knives in stock...

Exactly, any kind of tire list is total bs every thing is subjective lol

And then we have the title/question--

Does everyone agree with this tier list
