We've been exploring Portuguese whites, when available, for the last year or so (excluding vino verde so far). This opened with a touch of oxidized quality, just enough to add to the excitement. It blew off, resolving into a honeyed, textured mouthful at 12%. It follows a similar path as Gravonia after pulling the cork, though more floral.

How is this one? I kinda imagine it like a fernet?
Closest thing to Green Chartreuse one can get around here. They don’t sell Green Chartreuse to the public here only restaurants and bars. I really like this though has a great herbal flavor not too sweet either. Also one can make a strange drink too. 3oz Faccia 1 oz lemon juice 6 oz cheer wine.

I used to mix what I called a French Disconnection.
7 parts good neutral vodka; 1 part Chartreuse, sipped neat. Dilutes the sweetness but still has the nice herbal flavors.

Bénédictine works nicely as well.

Bought a bottle of Bunnahabhain 18 that's going to have to wait for new year's eve since I got the worse flu of my life along with my wife and kids 😢 I'm just happy they're much better now. Rough past couple days to say the least.
