Edge retention is outstanding. I doubt I’ve sharpened it more than 3 times, not sure.

Removed most patina with semichrome, looks like there’s a spot I missed. I’ll take care of it in a bit.

I can take more photos upon request. If someone wants a cleaver for ARM I can throw this ichimonji in the box also.

BTW whats the geometry like now after sharpening? Is it only light touch up?

Geometry is very good. Very clean well defined shoulder that’s easy to work with. Birgs aren’t stone ready however. So polisher people might have to do a little work first
