Yeah his pricing on The website are in Australian but they do change to USD when you buy them. Honestly his prices are really cheap. Once they go to USD we finally get a decent exchange rate. If you message him on Instagram, he can send you an invoice that will convert to USD

    pin placement

Gorgeous knife, they look good but I find the odd rule looks better to me. I like the small pins a lot, I think if it had just one large pin in the middle it would have looked better. Overall a fantastic build.

WTS Wolfram special edc fixed blades

I dont know about Wolfram in an edc/HRC but I can say in a kitchen knife I am super impressed. It might be my current favorite, even though it may not make sense it holds an edge for a long time and is very easy to sharpen.

My favorite color is BLUE!.............A patina thread.

It's definitely done for art sake and I love the look. Just holding it it's comfy but too small. In use in a pinch grip you don't notice it at all.

    Thoughts on design and craftsmanship

Design and craftsmanship may be the most important aspect for me at least when buying from a new maker where I don't know the performance yet. I would say things like rounded/polished spine and choil, handle fit up, tiny primary bevel etc are what I am looking for. Your work presents incredibly...

WTS MSicard Cutlery 220mm CPM-154CM Gyuto

I have a kitchen knife from another maker in this steel. I really like it a lot. Its a little tougher to sharpen than AEB-L but definitely holds the edge longer. I think with as thin as this guy is it will be a piece of cake to sharpen.

    Do you guys like honyaki?

No but it helps to hear that the failures are real. That justifies the price difference.

    Do you guys like honyaki?

I'm probably in the minority but I'm not a huge fan. It looks great when polished and new but it's lost with patina. To be completely honest, I also don't understand the pricing. I have heard that it can be a very high failure rate for some Eastern makers, but with Western makers it looks like...
