Sorry for the delay, gang. My day schedule got unexpectedly wonky this past week. Knives are on their way to @cooktocut I am traveling today but will add some thoughts when I have a moment. Overall I enjoyed the laser quite a bit.

I guess I don’t really get the allure of making a likely terrible looking knife with a horrible grind because you aren’t using the bare minimum of decent tooling. What is the reward after all of the sweat and hard work to essentially have a kinda sharp spatula?

My handle is made of aluminum with a touch of brass and I find it to be very comfortable. This knife is definitely in my top 3 for sure.

Looks like the thread got removed. OG member who hadn’t posted in 4 years was trying to sell a Kato for $600. Said he accepted PayPal and Venmo but not notes. Likely a hacked account.

What’s the offensive part? The dark core or the use of wrought?

Or conversely if the seller is trying to scam, no notes means the buyer may have less recourse when filing a claim. I feel pretty confident that PayPal is not cracking down on a note that says “Kato”
