Ohira Uchigumori hato
Leaning towards the harder medium, double sided with similar polish, very even white kasumi, no scratches, nothing harmful, I prefer the back side better as it is smoother and finer.

Okudo hon / ao suita (double sided)
Bought originally for the front side, opened the back and surprisingly different characteristic. Hon side have a harder and fast cutting feedback, glossy kasumi polish while the ao side provide a smooth butter feedback with even white kasumi.
Really cool...
Vintage hand sawn akapin awasedo (iromono?)
Medium, slight towards harder side, have a dent in the middle from the material loss, can flatten it out. Good kasumi with slight scratches, very good pre-finishing transition.

This is a knife that I bought and restored. Purchased according to my friend 4 years ago, very beaten up when I received it, been in work at a sushi bar for all four years. Treated it as a fun project, put little over 20hrs of work onto it, started on binsui, then natsuya, nagura. After koma...
Some edge put on it with the uchi and some more polish vid. Didn't spend much time on it, jumped from shapton 1500 straight.
Still looking for a nsk coarse stone
