Years ago I bought a Yoshikane from you that came with a walnut edge guard and handle made by Sheehan.
Sold that knife but made sure to keep the edge guard!
I heat it in a pan but I cover it instead of using a broiler.
Bottom gets crispy and top is gently warmed.
Much better crust compared to using the toaster oven...

I’m amazed how quick people are to demand the maker compensate the buyer for something that might be outside their control.
Note buyer said the knife was well packed…
