Even oiled it would give me concern depending on environment stored and your geographic location...

Looks like a weighty handle, but if used/balanced with a pinch grip, a relief to the front of the scales is a nice touch. Agree with the above comments about pins. I like simpler and odd number. Also, simple handle with fancy pins, fancy handle with simple pins. Same goes for handle and blade...
