I've replaced the handle of a Shigefusa petty, so the stock handle is now no longer needed by me.

The handle is burnt chestnut wood (I believe), d-shaped and with a black horn ferule. The handle was burnt on before, so popped right off with no damage. The tang on shigefusa knives is quite thick, so you would probably need to epoxy to on the get a tight fit with many other brands.

There is a slight odour to the handle of stale cigarette smoke, which I really can't stand. It wouldn't be a problem for someone who smokes in the house as it's the same smell as everything takes on in that environment. I've sanded it off a little and thankfully the smell is mostly gone.

The handle is free for whoever wants it, but I would ask you to cover the cost of postage. I'm in the UK.

If it's not been claimed by this evening I'll get some pictures up.

I'll get you a quote.

If you pm me your email address I can send you some pictures.

Sorry, I've got this one. Mounted it on a 270mm Tanaka KU Yanigiba..... really goes well with the blade.

Thanks again, KKF! :cool2:
