How should Shapton stones be represented in future GLGC revisions?

If anyone is still following this I have a proposal I would like to check with the members.

I am thinking of renaming the Shapton column to Kuromaku, eliminating the grades that do not exist within that line, and adding the stone colors. There seems to be general agreement that the Kuromaku (Pro) stones act coarser that the average of waterstones with the same number so this column would still seem to be useful.

I wouldn’t know what Kuromaku is. I call them shapton glass and shapton pro. Everyone here does the same generally. The Kuromaku is labeled “Shapton Ceramic Whetstone” on the actual stone. Definitely call them Shapton.
