    bikes bikes bikes

I'm hoping I can get a recommendation for a quality but price conscious, steel, hardtail MTB. I tried my drop bar gravel grinder on a single track this past weekend, not ideal.

At home we keep it simple, if we're in the mood for carbs...robuchon potatoes, a loaded baked potato, or french fries. Sides in this...

    Tequila.

Like most new hobbies, I tend to splurge, try a lot to find my preference. Living in LA now with easy access to quality, additive free tequila helps. I'm not into celebrity brands either, though I've heard good things about Codigo 1530, owned by George Strait.

Soylent Green is people! Had a pretty tasty impossible burger when Monty's Good Burger opened, place even smelled like a greasy diner. Then I read into what it's made of and the process, never again. It'll also never gonna make it to my kitchen or menu, it's a seasonal, house ground veggie...

WAIT!! panna cotta is just "milk Jello"?

I like adding sour cream, yogurt, creme fraiche, labneh, keffir, or goat cheese for a light tang...easy and versatile. Scored points with a Persian lady once by making her a rose water and cardamom infused panna cotta topped with pistachio. She was ok with me dating her daughter after that.
