I have not tired all of those. I have still have a few sets in storage since I haven't ridden a lot over the last 2 years. But then I'll test all the new stuff, for sure. I have been lucky with flats on my road bike using GP5000s and latex tubes. Ironically, the last one was on my tubeless...

Yes, one of the reasons I have not made the switch on my road bike. My favorite tires (GP5000) cost almost double tubeless. That is one welcome change in the newer frames. Now they fit much wider tires on road bikes. I see more and more 30mm+ and my usual 25/28 feels almost narrow now.

From that perspective I agree. If you stick in the mid-range market, biking is not that expensive of a hobby, all things considered. But it is similar to the kitchen knives: When somebody new asks you how much they need to spent to get started with a gravel bike let’s say, they are in for a...

Congrats! Looks very nice. That is the one upside at the moment. The used bike market is crazy. All those Covid bikes getting sold, there are some good deals to be had.

    Hello from Germany

moderncooking just listed 2 of the mk 1, including the one made from TNT666. I kind of want a knife from that steel, even if it is a bit silly when there are better steels available. I like the mk 1, very comfortable and nimble. No nonsense, in a good way. Nice user, for sure. I would...

    Hello from Germany

I'm from Cologne, NRW. My first custom from Vasco Verissimo just arrived. I also got lucky in the draw from Antoine for the Mk. 1 and snatched up 1 from Simon Krichbaum when it became available again. The latest one was from Samuel Dunn. So now I still looking for a petty and a paring knife...

    Hello from Germany

Thanks! I know about a few of them, but am always glad for additional ideas. The European scene is quite vibrant it seems, so my wish list is growing and growing longer than my new knife rack. 🙈

    Hello from Germany

Hi fellow knife enthusiasts, I have been cooking for a long time using mostly classical German knifes. But for last few years I have been getting more into Japanese knives as well. So now I got my first few custom/semi-customs and the wish list is getting longer and longer… Take care, Marc
