    Yoshikazu Tanaka House Brand Sharpener?

I agree with @Cliff - it's likely to be multiple different specialists depending on availability/capacity at the time the batches of knives are forged are ready for sharpening. I think the good news is that none of them are likely to be anything but excellent sharpeners, but in many of these...

SOLD Toyama 240mm Iron Clad with upgraded handle/saya

Selling a classic. Toyama 240mm Iron Clad. Rounded spine and choil and custom handle from Tony LaSeur. Also a matching maple saya. Has been polished to a kasumi finish (not by me - previous owner) but looks great. Great geometry, and hard, hard steel/HT. It's a pure cutter for sure and a nice...

    Anyone else into watches?

Appreciate your thoughts Thanks, H. Appreciate these. And makes sense. I might be super boring and get an FXD, keep it on a strap, and call it a tweener. I hate the idea of having two Pelagos' (how do I make that plural?) but they are great watches to my eye and the movement is great. I'm...

    Anyone else into watches?

Funny, just looking at the FXD MN version. My concern was getting good straps for it. How is yours holding up?

    Anyone else into watches?

I used to have three Sinns. I couldn't take the bezel (needs improvement IMO) and weight of them. They wore heavy on my wrist. I never got the newer, smaller version, but the full sized were just monsters.

    Anyone else into watches?

@gaijin - thanks for the tip. I will look at them. I tend to gravitate to more established/horticulturally prominent watches, as I love the history and in house movements. But always learning and it seems like there are more and more newcomers to the space that deserve a look.

    Anyone else into watches?

Thanks! I love divers - just a diver guy I guess. 42mm is about perfect, can probably go 39mm-43mm without it making a huge statement of outsized proportions. Don't need a bezel, but I do love a good clean bezel. I have to say, I'm tempted by this IWC Petronas - it's just a beautiful color and...

    Anyone else into watches?

Sad day two days ago, folks. August 2023 (almost new!) Tudor Pelagos 42mm Blue. Hit the the tile floor from waist height while I was walking and putting it on in the AM. This happened. Crazy. I absolutely would have expected it to withstand the drop. But it did not. Gotta send to my AD and...
