    I see neeves knives flip the burr each time he flips the knife before grinding on that side. At the end, he does trailing passes alternating sides to flip the burr back and forth before finally finishing with a couple leading passes. Does that way work out do you think there's a better way...

    That'sa relief. I didn't really want to buy and test out all different kinds of compound. Next sharpening I'll try stropping on some jeans. See how that does

    When using denim, can you use just denim or do you need compound for that also? I use the 45dps just to cut the burr off so I don't have the chance of leaving behind damaged steel from flipping it over and over

Then back to my sharpening angle, leading passes only and I'll cross the grit pattern to reduce the risk of forming a burr although I know there's always a...

    I was watching one of yours and wondered. Do you have opposite scratch patterns on your edges? One side the teeth point forward and the other side teeth point back? It looked like your finishing passes that's what you did
