    I think the brand mark is the fireman and ladder. The mark below that says ‘qualite superieur’

    Found in Cherbourg France. for €1 by a friend. We can’t identify the brand name, interested in possible date too. The fireman and ladder looks like a trade mark. Under that there appears to be the faded word ‘France’. Below that it says “Qualite Superieur”

    I haven’t had this problem - for the most part my knives are used as and when needed. Only a few are in long storage and these are in their original boxes/ or sayas/ and wrapped in VCI

    On a different matter, I often read on here from members looking for cheap carbon steel on which to practice, well these little knives are brilliant for the money. Okeya Kitchen Knife Set
